What is the cost to educate my son/daughter?

Each year, we calculate for the Board of Regents an average cost of instruction per student. In the 2011-12 academic year, the estimated average cost of instruction for an undergraduate student at the University was $10,850. This figure includes the Universityʼs direct expenditures to support one undergraduate student for the fall and spring terms. The cost includes faculty and staff salaries, energy payments, building and instructional laboratory maintenance, libraries, facilities, and other costs incurred in the process of educating an undergraduate student.
